Conducted need and supply chain analysis, facilitated problem solving and stakeholder engagements, and farmer discussions around Moringa adoption and its product lines. Supported data management and analysis efforts of the Ethio-Sudan cross border trade of live animals. Project funded by the Ethiopian Government, FAO and the World Bank. Performed field surveys, including supervision of data collection, for:

  • Impact study on improved barley, sorghum varieties and improved sheep cross breeds
  • Marketing of horticulture crops under irrigation
  • Value chain of live animals and hides & skins for goats and sheep

Analyzed data for the International Center for Agricultural Research in Dry Areas (ICARDA) Diffusion and Impact of Improved Varieties in Africa (DIIVA) project (funded by the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation) aimed at assessing the adoption rate and impact of improved legume varieties.

Assessed the impact of Sustainable Land Management interventions in Ethiopia.

Advised on appropriate small-scale irrigation technologies and agronomic practices and led demonstrations to farmers, women and children for various ag products
